There are all sorts of beautiful places to discover and each visit is always a new experience. To be able to really soak in an area such as a hike is a great way to slow down an really look around.While these scenes allow for more planning with the assumed static nature, always be ready for the nature to give you some surprises. 

For everything unplanned and found in the moment while walking around various locations, usual on the street. When I do not know what to shoot, I take a walk and always find something with great surprises every time and every time I am glad that I had my camera.

Portrait shoots are always a great practice in collaboration as the results are hinged on both the people in front of and behind the camera. Every shoot is unique just like the people with vastly different concepts and ideas combining to make something that is very individual. There is a fair range of studio work to natural lighting shown with some great in camera techniques employed from the toolbox to complete the vision. 

These images are the result of tests in manipulating the film in some way beyond normal shooting whether that be within the camera or chemically altering the film itself. Each has some individual qualities that makes each image wholly unique. One process shown here called film soup has the film soaking in all manner of materials (salt water, lemon juice, etc.) to alter the emulsion with vastly different results. 

Live events are where people gather and its for a reason and if its good enough for a crowd then it should be good enough to photograph. I love doing these for the dynamic nature of it all, theres always something going on whether on stage or in the crowd.
